Private Events & Fundraisers

Cedar Valley Art and Wine is proud to offer our studio for private events. You may select your painting from our Gallery or ask our event coordinator for a suggestion. Another option is to supply your own idea for a custom painting. Phone 319.939.4356 for more information.  

Ideas for private events include birthdays, bachelorette parties, mom's night out, reunions, fundraisers, corporate parties, corporate team building events, wedding/baby showers, clubs or just because you want an excuse to get together. The sky is the limit when it comes to ideas for private events!

Q. How do I hold a fundraiser?

A. All 501(c)3 organizations are eligible for fundraisers. A copy of the 501(c)3 must be on-file with Cedar Valley Art and Wine prior to the event. Contact us for more information.

Q. How do I set up a fundraiser event?

A. Call 319-939-4356 to set a date or by sending us a message at info@cedarvalleyartandwine. You may also use the form  on our Contact Us page.

Q. What are the requirements for a fundraiser event?

A.  A deposit of $105 is required to hold the date of the event at the studio and $210 if holding the event at a venue of your choice. The deposit will be put towards registrants or will complete the minimum requirements for the chosen event. Maximum studio seating is 21 in the Front Studio, 30 in the Middle Studio and 34 in the Back Studio. We do request a headcount 48 hours prior to the event to prepare proper supplies. 

Minimum attendee requirements are 10 at the studio, 15 when traveling within the Cedar Valley and 20 when traveling out of the Cedar Valley area. Each person pays the cost for the event. A check for 10 percent of the gross sales will be written at the end of the event to the charity.   

Example of venues we will travel to include businesses, school events and fundraisers. The cost per canvas is $35.00.  The deposits hold the date and secure the time slot. 

Q. How do I cancel or change a fundraising event registration?

A. Notify us by phoning 319-939-4356 one week prior to the event to be eligible for a refund, credit, or to change your class date. No deposit refund will be given if the cancellation is less than seven days prior to the event. To change the fundraising date, please know the current date of the event, title or description of painting, and the date you wish acquire. 

Q. What do I need to provide if I host the event?

AOptional items for you to provide your guests are treats, snacks, appetizers and decorations if so desired. 

Q. What do I need to provide as supplies when hosting an event at a different venue?

A. Yes. As the host, you need to provide tables, chairs, table coverings, paper plates, paper cups, napkins, and a source of water. Our staff will help configure the tables and chairs if needed. We will arrive one hour prior to the event to set up the painting supplies.  

Q. How many people can you manage if we hold a fundraising event at my own venue?

A. As long as you have the space, tables and seating, Cedar Valley Art and Wine has no limit to the amount of people at an event. Keep in mind the artist will need to be seen and heard to complete the painting.
